This Particular design was christened the "Dr" bag as, during the early design stages, it was intended to be much more like a traditional apothecary bag and, although the design changed dramatically, the name stuck.
Here, a beautiful, handwoven, pure wool houndstooth check tweed - woven in an unusually large and striking scale, is teamed with a stunningly luxurious hot pink Italian lambskin leather base. Adding a stylish transparent pink acrylic handle only further adds to the contemporary and feminine feel of this bag, perfect for anyone wanting to add a touch of glamour to their look!
The tweed is produced in a small family run mill in Scotland in small batches and is of the most exceptional quality. Combine this with the beautiful grey, pure wool embroidered lining and butter-soft Italian leather, and you have a bag made of the most ridiculously luxurious materials that makes a statement both outside and in.
Measuring approx. 11" x 12" and 4" deep, the "Dr" bag has a firm plastic base, and metal twist lock and feet. The interior pocket is closed with a YKK zip. The stylish, contemporary transparent pink handles are hard, scratch resistant polyester acrylic and have an opening of approx. 5" from the top of the bag, to the top of the inside of the handle.
All my bags are entirely handmade by me in a smoke free, and pet free studio. They are double-stitched throughout, and triple stitched at any stress points. To keep their shape, they are all fully interfaced with ultra thick interfacing, and each comes packaged in its own protective cotton dust cover.
Every single bag we create is a one off design, never to be repeated in exactly the same way again. We love the creative challenge this affords us and knowing that each of our customers gets something totally unique to them!
